While many of Rob&#8217;s contemporaries got into the movie coverage game right after college, Rob spent his formative years managing retail stores and working in the Peet&#8217;s Coffee IT department. That changed in late 2007 when he reached out to a young film site called Film School Rejects about writing opportunities. They didn&#8217;t pay at the time, but free movies and a chance to share his opinions were more than enough for a hobby. He went full-time as a writer some years later and ultimately called FSR his online home for seventeen years.
