In July 2020, one year after the launch of Certified Forgotten, The Matts launched both a Patreon and the official Certified Forgotten website. Since then, Certified Forgotten has become another home for some of horror journalism’s best and brightest voices. Every dollar raised via Patreon goes back into the site whether that’s writer payments, editor payments, or further upgrades — the Matts see no profit themselves, as a promise.
